Uganda tours from UK

Enjoy Uganda tours from UK and marvel at the beautiful savannah just like the former Prime Minister Winston Churchill did during his trip to Uganda in 1907.  Uganda is truly the pearl of Africa, the term which was coined by Winston Churchill in his book “My Africa journey.”

There is so much to witness during the visit to Uganda, the country hosts the famous Mountain gorillas. Mountain Gorillas are some of the rare and endangered gentle wild species that have great DNA match with humans.

It is always great to visit Uganda to be part of the gorilla trekking journeys. Mountain gorillas in Uganda can be trekked in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga gorilla National Park.

Chimpanzee trekking is another common activity that is marveled by many tourists. There are many chimpanzees in Uganda which can be trekked around Kibale Forest National Park, Budongo Forest, Kyambura gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Ngamba Islands.

Apart from Gorillas and Chimpanzees, Uganda is home to many wildlife species such as the African big 5- lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. Other wildlife species to expect during the visit to the country include the warthogs, zebras, giraffes, cheetah, hyenas, crocodile, hippopotamus, antelopes, jackal, serval, hartebeest, Topis, gazelles, Uganda kobs and many others.

It is possible to witness the mentioned wildlife species by taking the trip to national parks. There are many National Parks in the country such as Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison falls National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Kidepo National Park, Semuliki National Park.

Animals inside the park are observed through a game drive. During the game drive, you are driven in a 4×4 safari car by the tour guide using designated routes while looking out for various wildlife species.

The Tour guide is always knowledgeable about where to expect certain animals during a particular time of the day. Tour guides also share information amongst themselves and this helps them to easily locate wildlife species.

For tourists who have the passion for climbing, we have climbing tours where we usually take tourists to Mountain Rwenzori National Park and Mount Elgon National Park.

Uganda is home to over 1000 bird species which makes it a popular birding destination.
