Maasai Mara National park is among the most visited tourism destination. For visitors that visit around July to August, it is likely that they will witness the great wildebeest migration.

You can make any suggestion depending on travel needs however during this tour, you will visit Bwindi Impenetrable National park for gorilla trekking and later, you will visit Masai Mara National park for an extraordinary game viewing experience. The tour can either start from Uganda or Kenya.
We shall provide you with the best airport pickup services. If the journey is to start from Uganda, we shall pick you up from Entebbe International airport to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
It is possible to fly from Entebbe International airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The flight only takes 1 hour however the road trip is also possible. The road trip takes 9 hours however it is always a thrilling experience due to many attractions along the way.
During the road trip, you will have a stop at the Equator and later, you will continue to the beautiful country side of Uganda which is covered by savannah vegetation and wonderful cattle farms up to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Our tour guide will visit the hotel where you will be residing to pick you up and start your journey to Bwindi. If you are to use air transport, you will be transferred to Entebbe International airport where you will take the flight to Bwindi however you are taking the road trip, you will be driven for 9 hours to the park.
Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge where you will be served with the perfect meals. Most of the lodges in Bwindi are located in serene environments with the perfect views. You will spend the night at the lodge while preparing for the next day gorilla trekking experience
Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience
This day is the one of the highlights of this trip. Mountain gorillas are only located in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. Witnessing the gorillas is a lifetime experience.
Early in the morning, our tour guide will drive you to the park headquarters where you will meet other tourists who will be trekking gorillas that day.
You will be briefed about what to expect during the gorilla trekking. All questions will be welcome. Afterwards, you will be teamed up into a group of eight tourists and each team will be allocated a particular gorilla group to trek. There are currently 19 habituated gorilla groups in Bwindi.
Afterwards, you will start trekking through the Bwindi Impenetrable National park under the guidance of a well knowledgeable armed park ranger. The park rangers are always aware of the previous gorilla group location and they use that as the starting point by using the different signs left behind to know the direction which they could have taken.
Afterwards, approximately 1 to 8 hours, you will be able to spot the gorillas. Witnessing gorillas in their natural habitat is life changing. You will enjoy the experience. you will spend 1 hour while witnessing various instinctive and non-instinctive behaviors of the gorillas.
During this time, you will take as many photos as possible. Later, after the gorilla trekking experience, you will return to park headquarters where you will meet the tour guide who will transfer you back to the Lodge where you will celebrate your successful gorilla trekking experience.
Dinner will be served
Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe International airport and later fly to Nairobi
Early in the morning, you will be transferred from Bwindi Impenetrable National park to Entebbe International airport where you will take a flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by another tour guide from our company who will transfer you to your hotel
Day 4: Masai Mara National reserve game viewing
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Masai Mara National reserve. You will either take a road trip to Masai Mara which takes 6 hours however the flight takes 1 hour.
During the road trip, you will have a stop at the Great Rift Valley view area where you will have panoramic views of the great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival in Masai Mara, you will check in your lodge, have some meals and afterwards, you will drive to the park for game viewing. Masai Mara is home to the African big 5- lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and Rhinos. Other wildlife species include wildebeest, warthogs, hartebeest, Topis, hyena, cheetah, giraffes, zebra, and many species. By evening hours, you would have witnessed many wildlife species.
Day 5: Full day game viewing experience
On this day, you will have enough time to explore the different parts of the reserve while looking out for various wildlife species. For tourists who visit during the July to October, it is likely that you will witness the great wildebeest migration.
During the great wildebeest migrations, millions of wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebra, Topis, and gazelles are seen grazing around Masai Mara. These animals cross from Serengeti National Park to the Masai Mara and afterwards, they make the return back to Serengeti after October.
During the great wildebeest migration, you will have a chance to see predators in action. Predators are always in the proximity to look out for prey.
The Masai Mara River crossing is always interesting. As the migrating herd is crossing, some of the members of the heard are eaten up by crocodiles in Mara River. By evening hours, you would have heard an extensive game viewing experience.
Day 6: Hot-air balloon and transfer to Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International airport
On this day, you will wake up in the morning, and visit the hot-air balloon launch site where you will participate in a hot-air balloon. The hot-air balloon flies over masai Mara and it offers the perfect opportunity to have an aerial view of the maasai mara’s inhabitants.
After landing, you will be treated to a memorable bush breakfast and later, you will either continue with the game drive or take an optional tour of the Maasai Villages. After lunch, you will start your journey back to Nairobi or to Jomo Kenyatta International airport and this will mark the end of this wonderful trip.
