3 day Uganda flying safari
The 3 day Uganda flying safari is one of the most demanded flying tours to Uganda. The tour is famous because in most cases, 3 days are enough to explore several national parks. This flying safari is exclusive to luxury travellers.
There are luxury lodges across all national parks in Uganda. In addition, there are many airstrips which were set up to serve the national parks. Most national Parks have airstrips. During these 3 days, you will fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking.
Gorilla trekking is Uganda’s most famous tourism activity. Gorilla exhibit wonderful instinctive and non-instinctive wild behaviors which are great to witness.

Day 1: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be driven to the Entebbe international airport where you will take a flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It takes approximately 1 hour to fly to Bwindi. You will land in Kihihi airstrip.
At the airstrip, another tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to your luxury lodge, where you will enjoy the day. During this day, it is possible to take a community tour where you will learn about several local experiences. At the lodge, you will be served with perfect meals and you make the necessary preparations for the next day gorilla trekking
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
Very early in the morning, our tour guide will visit the lodge where you will be picked and transferred to the park headquarter for the briefing. You will be informed about the information that you need to know about gorilla trekking and should have questions, you will be able to pose them.
After the briefing, you will be allocated a particular group of other travellers whom you are going to trek the gorillas. During gorilla trekking, a maximum of 8 travellers are given a particular gorilla group to trek.
After that exercise, you will start the trekking; you will walk through the dense forest under the guidance of an armed park ranger while looking out for gorilla. The park ranger is also informed about the previous location of the gorilla group that you are trekking.
He/she will interpret the different marks left behind to guess the current location of the gorillas. Walking sticks are sometimes necessary as it is sometimes slippery, after about 1 to 8 hours of trekking, you will be able to spot the gorillas.
It is a life time opportunity to watch the gorillas. Seeing the gorillas in the midst of think Bwindi forest is great. After seeing the gorillas, you will be given only 1 hour to stay with the gorillas and during that time, you will take as many photos as possible.
A maximum of 10 meters is how close you can get to the gorillas. After this wonderful experience, you will return to the park headquarters where you will receive your gorilla trekking certificate and afterwards, the tour guide will transfer you to the lodge where you will jubilate about your experience. Wonderful meals will be served
Day 3: Fly to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip where you will take a flight back to Entebbe International airport. You might decide to continue flying back home or you might be driven to the hotel around Kampala or Entebbe.
