2 day Uganda safari
The 2 day Uganda safari is a short tour that will take you to Uganda for a wonderful game viewing experience. Game viewing is the number one reasons why many tourists visit Uganda. During the visit to the country, you will have the chance to witness the African big 5- lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. Other wildlife species to expect during the visit to Uganda include the warthogs, reedbuck, hyena, cheetah, giraffes, zebra, African wild cat, African wild dogs, hippopotamus, crocodiles, Topis, antelopes, caracal, jackal, serval, bushbuck, waterbuck, waterbuck, hartebeest, red colobus monkey, black and white colobus monkeys, L’hoest monkeys and many more species.
During this particular tour, you will visit Queen Elizabeth National park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most visited national park in Uganda. The park hosts the big 4- lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards and many other wildlife species. During the visit to the park, it is possible to witness the tree climbing lions around the Ishasha sector. Chimpanzees are also present in Kyambura gorge.
This is a suggestive tour. Should you want to visit another national park such as Murchison falls National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, or others parks; we will customize this tour for you.
We offer excellent airport pickup services to our clients. We will pick you up from Entebbe International airport to your desired hotel.
It is possible to take a flight to Queen Elizabeth using the Kihihi airstrip, Mweya airstrip, and Ishasha. However the road trip is also possible. Whatever you want, we will make the desired arrangement.
Day 1: game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning, our tour guide will visit your hotel where you will be picked and driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. You will start the drive by driving along the Kampala – Masaka road and later you will take the Mbarara road. You will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe along Kampala –Masaka Road. It road trip enables the tourists to enjoy the picturesque rolling hills of Uganda’s western region. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will check in your lodge, have meals and afterwards, you will be driven to the park for a wonderful game viewing experience. During the game drive, you will drive along the Kasenyi trail while looking out for lions, elephant, buffaloes, leopards, hyena, cheetah, warthogs, caracal, jackals, antelopes, giraffes, zebras and others. In the evening, you will return to the lodge where you will have wonderful meals.
Day 2: Boat cruise and game drive
This is the last day of this tour.
In the morning, you will drive to the park for another game viewing experience until lunch time. During this time, you will look out for tree climbing lions and other species of your interest. At lunch, meals will be served and later, you will participate in the boat cruise. After the boat cruise, you will be driven back to Kampala and this will mark the end of this wonderful safari
